Suggested revised "No-Garage-Door" layout. The yellow is the wall and chimney that is to be removed. The pinky bits were the wall extensions for the newly positioned garage door. The revised version (with no garage door) requires a short spur wall to the support point for the new steel joists. For the "radio-shack" corner of the new build, there could be shelving or a desk behind this short spur wall. |
